Conference in Hamburg

We may call it a seminar of experts as the input was highly professional and the sharing of experience created new synergies. The project partners could present the products that had been jointly produced during the project time and experts Rolf Schärer, Gareth Hughes, Beate Bendorff-Helbig, Antje Neuhoff, Egle Sleinotiene gave the value added to the experience that the participants had gained during the development stages of the project. Those who attended the conference/seminar were acquainted with the project, ELP activities and outlines for the Mentoring Guidelines, as well as shared their rich experiences in using an ELP.

Project meeting in Crete, July 2nd to 5th, 2009

The main goal was to discuss and evaluate the national cascading events and plan the dissemination conference in Hamburg, Germany in October 23rd.

Training session on the use of ELP via Interacive Whiteboard

From 4th till 7th of March ActivELP was running a training session for the teacher trainers on the use of ELP via interactive whiteboard and on practical Mentoring.

Partners meeting in Turkey

The project partner meeting was a pivotal point in decision making about the interactive whiteboard activities.

Second partners meeting in Florence

The meeting in Florence joined the partnership together in finding similar views and approaches to the development of units for the e-teaching module.
The external expert's, Rolf Sharer's, presence and contribution to the dicussion helped the team not to go astray from the main task: the embodiment of ELP in everyday classroom activities.
The challenge of the use of interactive whiteboard was not underestimated and the difficulties in the application were understood. Nevertheless, the importance of the innovative approach was shared by all partners.

First partners meeting in Riga

The first partners meeting took place in Riga, Latvia on 14th to 15th of January, 2008. The meeting reached the conscensus on the need to use the ELPs in teaching. The project participants were informed on the use of interactive whiteboard and gained a practical insight into this application. The immediate tasks of needs analysis survey: ELPs availability in each project member country and inquiry of the availability of interactive whiteboard were set.
